(1) to give someone or something a name, or to know or address someone by a particular name

(2) named, christened, known as, tagged, labeled

(3) appointed, chosen, dedicated, anointed

(4) making us, who are entirely unqualified, into instruments of His will and plan

Isaiah 42:6
